We use digital ads and email to contact potential authors and readers. We also obtain some contact information from business cards at events, through word of mouth and via testimonials. Your contact details are logged for internal use.

If you apply for a job with us

We post open vacancies on our website, on job portal sites, and recruit through internal referrals.

We ask for your resume and may also ask for accompanying information such as your current work status as well as future eligibility to work.

If you are unsuccessful in your application, we retain your resume and any other information you have provided to us for a period of 4 years after which time it is destroyed. If you have applied for a position through a recruiter, then all your information will be held on their candidate database. When you use a different website or recruiting platform different from the DW Creative Publishers website to apply for a job, you should read its privacy notice and ensure that you are happy for them to process your personal data.

We use the lawful bases of legitimate interests and contract to process your personal data included in your job application.

Where we keep your personal data

All data that is received from or sent to our authors comes to our secure SFTP server, which is protected by Access Control Lists. Our email communications are through Office 365 and Mailchimp as our email service provider.

4) To have data erased, but only if it is no longer needed

We will comply with your request within one month (with some limited exceptions) and there is usually no fee required to be paid by you if you submit a request.
